Monsoon is the season that is loved by all for its nature's beauty that is seen. But well for most of the times it turns out to be annoying too, for the hurdles that it causes in the day to day life of the people, especially the ones who are traveling during the rainy season. So on the same we got in touch with the talented and the handsome Manish Raisinghani, who is seen playing the role of Siddhant in Rashmi Sharma's popular daily soap Sasural Simar Ka on Colors', to know on how much he likes the Monsoons, the way he likes to spend the monsoon season and much more.

Rainy season for me is:

Rainy season for me is like inhaling romance and exhaling adventure. For me it is the perfect season to date nature (smiles).

Precautions that I take during Monsoon:

My first precaution is suppose to be not stepping out of my house as much as possible to avoid myself from Mumbai traffic during rainy season. Window is the best place for me to sit and enjoy the rains if I don't want to get wet. Otherwise I love playing football, volleyball, bike ride or simply take a walk in the beautiful rains.

My memories related to Monsoons:

26th of July when Mumbai was flooded all over, that day is just unforgettable for me. My car got stuck and I had no option rather than get out of the car and take a walk and go home. I interacted with strangers and enjoyed my way to home in the rains with waist length water on the roads. In between I found a ground where there was no water logging, and I saw a few boys playing Football and I joined them too for a few hours. I had a super time spent in a literal sense that day.

My favorite visit during Monsoon:

Any road with no traffic is a treat for me during Monsoon. I love the Mumbai - Pune express way for that matter. Or if I am too lazy than my terrace is good enough to serve the purpose.

My Monsoon holiday:

I love to cherish each and every moment during rainy season in Pune. No traffic on the roads, lesser pot holes and the lush green trees on both the sides of the roads giving out the fresh green breeze is just like heaven on earth. A holiday there is just very much perfect for me.

Must carry things in Monsoon:

Three things that are must during Monsoon when you step out are - Umbrella, lots of entertainment stuff which I already have stored in my car to save myself from boredom and also carry a football as I love playing football when it is raining.

My monsoon music:

I love listening to romantic songs a lot. Also trance and techno at times. But one song that keeps playing in my car is the latest famous song Ilahi from the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. It is a superb song and I very much relate to that song too.

My monsoon special khaana:

Anything and everything is welcome to me when it comes to food, but the most I like eating during monsoon are the Bhajiyas and the chatpata chat.

My monsoon tip for the readers:

Just do what you feel like doing in the rainy season. Follow your heart and make the most of this season and may every drop of rain brings in the romance in your life this monsoon.

Vahbbiz and Vivian Dsena are off for a mini trip!

The talented actor Vivian Dsena who is currently seen playing the role of RK in Saurabh Tiwari's Nautanki Films popular daily soap Mandhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors, will be going out of India to celebrate his birthday.

Well we got to know that Vahbiz and Vivian Dsena are going for a small trip on Vivian Dsena's birthday that falls on the coming Friday that is 28th of June.

To know more we contacted our source and he confirmed the news saying, "Yes Vahbbiz and Vivian are going out of the country to celebrate Vivian's birthday. Vivian has planned a destination out of India to celebrate his birthday along with his wife Vahbbiz Dorabjee Dsena."

We tried contacting Vahbbiz and Vivian Dsena to know where they are going for Vivian's birthday trip, but they both were unavailable to comment.

End of road for Jia Mustafa in Pavitra Rishta!

Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms daily soap Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, will soon be heading towards leap in August.There has been a buzz that several actors are quitting the show as they do not want to do the roles which are more than their real age. But Jia has another story for quitting the show.

Jia Mustafa who plays the role of Punni has quit the show as she did not wanted to continue playing the negative role.

Our source informed us saying, "Jia has quit the show as she was unhappy with the way her role was shaping up."

To get deep insight on her quitting drama,we called up Jia to hear her story and she said, "I have put down my papers and I am serving my notice period. It is not because of leap that I am quitting the show, but the role and the character that I was playing was going haywire."

Further she added, "I felt I couldn't take it further, so I decided to quit the show.The journey with Pavitra Rishta has been very good. It was a learning experience for me and I enjoyed throughout."

"I would like to take up more episodic after Pavitra Rishta or positive roles but no more negative for me. I would rather divulge into anchoring or movies" she ended.

Goa to be recreated in Mumbai for Mayank and Gunjan’s honeymoon in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke

After all the ups and downs in the life of Gunjan (Roopal Tyagi) and Mayank (Ankit Gera) in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms), viewers are all set to witness some romantic moments between the newly-wed couple.
As seen so far, the love birds have finally got married and in the upcoming episodes they will be seen heading for their honeymoon to Goa. Ideally, the cast and crew of any show would jump in joy, with the very mention of shoot happening in an exotic location like Goa. But that’s not the case here…

“We are planning to recreate Goa in places like Manori, Uttan, Aksa beach and Madh Island in Mumbai, due to heavy rains in Goa we can’t go there,” said a source.
When we contacted Ankit, he said, “Yes, we aren’t going to Goa, but even then it will be fun shooting in outdoor locations. We are in fact already having a blast.”
Moving on to the drama quotient in the show, there are some interesting twists and turns that await the viewers. Our source goes on to say that while Gunjan and Mayank will be seen romancing each other, their family members will be in trouble as one of their shops will be set on fire. Apart from that, Charu (Aanchal Khurana) will be busy planning and plotting to create issues in the lives of the newly married couple.

Pavitra Rishta too will take a 20 year leap along with Bade Acche...

As reported earlier Balaji Telefilms Bade Achhe Laggte Hai on Sony TV is already set to take a leap in August and now we hear that Pavitra Rishta too is heading for a 20 years leap by August 2013.
Our source informs us, "The 20 years leap for Pavitra Rishta is on the cards and the reason for the actors quitting the show is that they don't wish to age. The show makers will start shooting for the leap within a month and it's said that Shakti Arora who plays Dr Onir will most likely leave the show! The same goes for Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani), Purvi (Asha Negi) and  Ovi (Shruti Kanwar) who will no more be part of the show. Even Pooni (Jai Mustafa) will no longer be part of the show as she has put down her papers."
The source explains, "The ones who will continue with the show are Archana (Ankita Lokhande), Manav (Hiten Tejwani),and Teju Mrinalini Tyagi . The story will show the kid Pari growing up, while Teju will have a new character opposite her and Archana and Manav will become grandparents. Rest all will be a completely new cast."
The source also said that in case the actors are not convinced the show will have to be puled off air. However, the actors are in a confused state of mind as they are not aware as to what will happen with their respective characters.
We asked Mrinalini Tyagi and she said, "I cant comment now. I too have heard about the leap but I will continue to be a part of the show."
While Jia Mustafa was of the opinion, "I don't want to comment anything as of now."
Lastly, Shakti Arora said, "I have no clue about the leap, nor my track in the show. Till I know anything concrete I won't comment."

We got the news that the Bhojpuri item girl Rani Chatterjee will be seen in the show soon. So on the same we contacted our source to know more about her cameo and the upcoming sequence, for which he confirmed the news saying, "High voltage drama will be seen in the marriage sequence of Poonam (Ishita Dutta) and Gautam (Sachin Chabra) in the show. There will be a cameo done by the very well known Bhojpuri item girl Rani Chatterjee, who will be seen doing a dance performance on Poonam and Gautam's wedding day."

Further he added, "The show will have a dance sequence where Rani will be seen dancing on the song Balam Pichkari from the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, leaving Ishita's family members embarrassed."

I will never play negative after Saraswatichandra:Monica Bedi

 

 

Monica Bedi who plays Guman in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sarawsatichandra is a renowned name in the industry. She was seen in many movies earlier and is epitome of beauty. Currently she is playing a total negative character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saraswatichandra.

Monica Bedi says that she is loving every bit of her stint in the show, "I am simply loving each and every bit of my stint in the show. Saraswatichandra is a very different show and not a typical saas-Bahu saga. It has a very warm and loving story line which appeals to the masses. Each and every actor is justified in the show by the character they are portraying."
Talking about her negative character she went on to say, "I never thought I would ever do such a negative role. I remember when Sanjay Sir told me that I will have to play negative, I was very skeptical it. However, now I feel I have made a perfect decision by taking up this role. The negative act of Guman is not very loud, she is sophisticated, soft and docile too but she has her own suppressed desires and a greed for money hence Sanjay sir wanted me as I had that soft look on my face. More than that, I am thankful to almighty that he gave me such a role and the appreciation that I have been getting from my fans is commendable. My look, costumes, the attire I wear is also talked about. I would like to thank all my fans for the same liking me and the show and hope that they keep watching the show."
When we asked her about the differnce between other daily soaps and Sarawatichandra. The entire set up and the look is like a movie. Talking about my character Guman, I would say that she is a bitch and will remain so forever as she can't be good and positive! This is the USP of the show, and every actor is what he or she is and they won't change shades unless there is a requirement for TRP."
She went on to explain, "If you ask me how similar or different I and Guman are I would say we are very very different by all means. In real life, I am very shy and reserved, soft spoken while Guman is super bitchy and doesn't want good for her son as her greed and passion is much higher than emotions while I am very easy going person at heart."
We also ask her about the rumors on the sets of Jennifer Singh Grover not being comfortable in shooting romantic scenes."Yes, I too have been hearing rumours about it but honestly I would say professionally Jennifer is a brilliant actress. She is good to everyone and she has been in this industry and is professional when it comes to work. She also talks to everyone around, and doesn't throw tantrums as such. While Gautam Rode is the prankster who makes us laugh and plays pranks on us whereas his role in the serial is shown to be very calm and silent."
However, Monica says she is done with negative roles as of now, "In my future projects, I won't take up negative roles at all. I want to do more of positive roles now and even comedy would do. Somehow for me Saraswatichandra will be the only negative I would like to do in my career."

I am putting in my best and hope to do better in the coming rounds of Jhalak - Ekta Kaul

Kashmir Ki Kali, Ekta Kaul is quite happy with her journey in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6 so far.
“All these days in Jhalak have been superb. I have learnt a lot,” quips Ekta.
The girl who first debuted on the TV scene with Rab Se Sohna Isshq (Zee TV) says, “Since I am a non-dancer, I have to pick up everything from scratch. The rehearsal process is quite tough. I have pain all over my body but it’s worth the effort. Initially, I was scared when I was approached by Colors and BBC Worldwide, but later decided to take it up as a challenge.”
Ekta has no issues with the fact that her initial rounds have not been great. “Like I said earlier, I am in the process of learning. Hence, I am happy with whatever comes my way. I am putting in my best and hope to do better in the coming rounds. I am just eating and sleeping dance 24*7,” she maintains.
The beautiful actress does not have any favourites when it comes to judges (Remo D'Souza, Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar) who are on the panel. “More than the marking, I always look forward to each of their comments so that I know where I need to improvise.”
Ask her if she will have a chance against more bigger TV names like Shweta Tiwari and Dhrasti Dhami among others and pat comes her reply, “I am not even competing with them. Some of them have been around for as long as eight years while I have been here for just eight months. I just want to make the best of this opportunity to learn this new craft.”
Before taking a leave, we asked Ekta as to what went wrong with Rab Se Sohna Isshq and she says, “I really don’t know. One does feel sad when despite putting in your best efforts, things don’t work out well.”

My character is the lead in Meri Bhabhi, and you cannot ignore him - Vipul Gupta

Actor Vipul Gupta who was last seen in Yeh Saali Zindagi plays a dutiful brother and a loving husband in Star Plus’ recently launched show Meri Bhabhi (DJ’s A creative Unit).
In an era where women walk away with the cake in most of the shows, Vipul is one actor who feels his character has enough meat which will not sideline him from the main concept which revolves around the bonding of a ‘nanand and bhabhi’…
Talking about it, Vipul tells Tellychakkar.com, “I did have reservations in taking up this show initially, but I was really happy when I got a narration from the producers. I have shot for a couple of episodes and am happy with the way my character is shaping up as per the narration.”
Going into more depth, the actor explains, “This is my sixth show as a lead and I know how important my character in the serial is. Right now the nanad-bhabhi affection is very attractive, and the show is being promoted by way of that. But there will be a husband-wife relationship as well as a sister-brother bond too. On the whole, there is a lot of meat in this character as he is the lead and you cannot ignore him.”
Talking about his pretty co-stars Kanchi Kaul (plays his sister) and Isha Kansara (plays his wife) he states, “Kanchi and I stay in the same building in real life, so we have known each other for a long time. Isha is a sweet girl and to tell you more, we have become best of buddies now.”
Vipul who is the prankster on the sets confesses, “I usually keep troubling my co-stars. For example once Isha had to go to some place and I told her that she should call a particular ticket agent who never existed. Apart from that the actor who plays my younger brother was once sleeping in between the shoot. So when he came up on the sets we told him that he looked really sleepy and must do some push-ups and he actually did it (laughs).”

I found the character of Nandini very challenging: Additi Gupta

Additi Gupta, who won over the viewers after playing different characters like Heer, Pihu, Harmony talks to us about how she feels now that the show Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan is coming to an end!

What are your views about the sudden end of Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan?

All the actors are very sad about it but it was not in our hands; they have to take the decision. We are unhappy but it doesn't make any sense in feeling bad about the things which are not in our hands. We started working on the show with lots of passion and scope. We had a lot of expectations like all others have at the beginning of their show but the result didn't came out well.  

The character of Nandini was very different from what you played earlier. Any difficulty you faced to get into this character?

Yes, I did face some problems but it's all because of Rakesh sir that I understood her way of speaking, her jealousy portion, etc. He related all the characters to real life and made everyone understand about small things which are relatable to our life. When these small things come together then it makes a character much better. I found the character of Nandini very challenging; it was a role of a widow which I found difficult to play because I am quite opposite to Nandini.

What will you be missing the most about your show?

Each day on the sets was like a class for everyone, in which we all got to learn something. I will miss my schedulers because we were given a lot of leaves which any actor hardly gets while doing a daily soap. I will miss everybody on the sets because everybody has contributed something or the other. We will keep in touch with each other and keep meeting.

Which has been your toughest scene till date?

It has to be scene in Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan itself. Nandini comes to know about the affair of Meera (Sanjeeda Shaikh) and Ani (Abhinav Shukla), where the entire family comes and Shyama (Richa Sony) makes Nandini understand saying, "Koi fark nahi padega' and Nandini says, "Fark padta hai didi." The dialogues of this scene were very difficult and I was not able to memorise the lines easily. The lines were about mangalsutra and sindoor which were very difficult and in another scene, I have to shout a lot on Meera and my director wanted some sarcasm in the scene. I was not comfortable saying sarcastic lines.

What inspires you to sketch?

Nothing inspires me but whenever I become bored of acting and my life becomes monotonous, then sketching is the only thing which breaks it. I sketch to feel better.

What is the hardest part of being a celebrity according to you?

Some people say that insecurities that come in an actor are the hardest part of being a celebrity! When one overcomes these insecurities and really doesn't care what's happening that is when one achieves something in life.

Do you think that Harshiti (Harshad – Additi) fans are too stubborn and difficult to handle?

They are not difficult to handle but they just don't understand (laughs). They keep messaging to me also and I find that they all are very sweet.

What are your future plans?

An actor cannot decide his/her future plans (laughs). As of now, I don't have any idea about i

Earlier, we reported about Prashant Chawla joining in the cast of Meri Bhabhi as Shraddha's ( Kanchi Kaul) husband. But the latest development says that ​the character has now seen a replacement. Accordingly, Bharat Chawda will now essay Bobby's role and not Prashant Chawla.

Daastan to go off air on 28 June; Sanjeeda's "disappointed" with the show ending abruptly

Here’s another serial that is being pulled off air in a jiffy.
We are talking about Zee TV’s Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan, produced by Ravi Ojha Productions.
The makers signed some famous names for the project, namely Sanjeeda Sheikh, Additi Gupta, Kiran Karmarkar, Abhaas Mehta, amongst others.
However, no matter how much the creatives tried to infuse life in the plot, Badalte never managed to gallop in the TRP race.
Initially, the show was launched at the 10 pm slot but later got shifted to 11pm.
But now, it will air its last episode on 28 June (2013).
“Many believe that other than ratings, the production house had certain issues with the channel, which further aggravated problems,” said a source.
Sanjeeda, being the female lead Meera, had immense expectations from the show. And now that it is ending, she is a disappointed soul.
“I am really sad that the show is ending abruptly. I can’t agree to the fact that it didn’t manage to get good TRPs. I don’t know what went wrong. The show has many good actors and even the story line’s good. I guess the time change was a problem. 11 pm slot for a television show is not a good idea. It is going off air in a span of four months; it should have been given more time,” shared Sanjeeda with Tellychakkar.com.
Do you regret to be a part of the show? “Not at all. It is destiny. I am a very positive person. It was lovely working with Ravi Ojha Productions and Zee TV. My character Meera did impress audiences and I have got good response, so it has been a lovely journey.”
So what now? Hunt for more roles? “Well, after the show ends I will head for a vacation with Aamir (Ali, her husband).”

Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) on Star Plus, has always kept its audience hooked with its intriguing dose of entertainment and drama. Last week, the numero uno show on TV once again raked in highest TRPs (4.0).
Now, gear up for some more drama in the coming episodes…
In the previous episodes, we saw how Suraj (Anas Rashid) tried his best to convince Sandhya (Deepika Singh) to not let go off her dreams so easily. With an interesting ploy of using the seven stones game, Suraj kept motivating Sandhya. But learning about Bhabho’s (Neelu Vaghela) displeasure on the act, Sandhya will once again get confused in the coning sequences.

The advice of the DSP, that polishing one’s know-how of the current affairs is the easiest way to succeed in exams, has struck Suraj so deep that he will now leave no stones unturned to see his wife achieve the dream of wearing a police uniform.
“The biggest dramatic sequence will be when a person from a TV manufacturer company (where Suraj had inquired to buy one) will turn up at their house. This will shock one and all. This extra incurrence of expense will anger Bhabho to such an extent that it will lead to another explosive moment,” adds the source.
Bhabho will ask Suraj for a surety that this expense will not go waste and will demand a guarantee in return of purchasing the TV. Sandhya will be upset with this turn of events.
How will Suraj convince Bhabho and family and also what will he give as a guarantee to Bhabho, will be for the viewers to see.
Anas refused to comment on the track while Neelu, as reported, is unwell. Deepika and Sumeet Mittal (Producer) remained unavailable for comment.

Asad - Zoya fight all odds to stay together!

Qubool Hai on Zee TV is currently shooting in the outskirts of Jaipur, and it will also have few scenes to be shot in Ajmer. Amidst all this there will be lots of drama and the fans will witness loads of shocking instances in the show.
Our source informs us that, "Tanveer (Amrapalli Gupta) will be in anger as she can't see Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Asad (Karan Singh Grover) together. She will push Zoya from the hill top and Tanveer will think that Zoya is dead.
But on the other hand Asad will try searching for Zoya and will find her. While there will be a romantic track between the couple in Ajmer, they will also seek blessings of the holy shrine in Ajmer. After which they will come back home."
However, Tanveer will be unaware that Zoya is alive and even as she decides on going back home she will see Zoya and Asad together. Seeing them together Tanveer will be full of rage.
When contacted Amrapalli Gupta acknowledged that there weill be lots of twists and turns and drama happening in the show.

Star Plus reigns supreme this week too with a total GRPs of 254, when compared to last week’s 242. Zee TV which had dropped last week to the # 3 position is back to the #2 spot this week with GRPs of 193, with a raise of 13 points from last week (which read 180). This development has pushed Colors to the #3 position with a GRP of 181, followed by Sony at the fourth spot with 151 GRPs. SAB TV is at the fifth spot with a GRP of 140 while Life OK is at #6 with a GRP of 127, a considerable drop from last week’s GRP which was 149.

Fight between RK and Sultan!

High voltage drama to be seen in Saurabh Tiwari's Nautanki Films popular daily soap Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors. The show is coming up with a crisp and interesting storyline leaving the viewers entertained.

On the upcoming episode of the show our sources confirmed the news saying, "During the puja ceremony in the Sitara Studio we will see Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) coming at the Pooja. His presence makes every one present at the Puja ceremony shocked leaving them with the question in their mind that something serious might happen ahead looking at Sultan's expression."

"Well their thought will turn to reality when Sultan announces that he is the son of Mohan Kundra which means that RK and Sultan are brothers. After Sultan announces this there is a big fight between him and RK (Vivian Dsena) as they hate each other and cannot take the fact that they both are brothers. After the puja gets over Sultan leaves from there."

"Furthermore, RK makes a plan and decides to teach Sultan a lesson."

'Success and failure are temporary in TV'

Says Sanjeeda Sheikh, who is upset about her three-month-old show being axed; calls the experience painful

Launched amid much fanfare, Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan, a remake of a Bengali show called Khela, was expected to mirror the original's success. Now, news is that the show, which stars Sanjeeda Sheikh, Kiran Karmarkar and Additi Gupta, will go off air within three months of its launch. Poor TRPs are being blamed for the prime time show's sudden end.
Sanjeeda quit an ongoing show to bag this role, and is dejected about its failure. "I'm upset that Dastaan is ending. After working so hard, to see it end abruptly is painful," says Sanjeeda. The rumours about the show being pulled off have been doing the rounds for the past two weeks now. "We were mentally prepared before the news was out. I'm glad I got appreciated for my role and the modern outlook that the show propagated," she says.

The actor, however, refuses to remark upon reports of differences between the show's makers and the channel. "It can't be only about the TRPs. The show that replaced us at 10 pm, Connected Hum Tum, has no TRPs either," she says.
Sanjeeda believes that this one failure will not have major repercussions on her career. "I've seen new actresses do one show and disappear or struggle for years to get their next break. I've been fortunate enough to have four shows back-to-back as lead. Success and failure are temporary in TV," she says. Does she regret leaving her earlier show Piya Ka Ghar? "No. I needed a break as I was doing it for over two years. I don't want my shows to run for more than a year as you get bored doing the same role. But you don't want your show to end in three months either," she says.

Prachee Shah returns to TV with Sphere Origin’s show

Beautiful and talented actress Prachee Shah Pandya, who shot to popularity with Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thhi and was last in Bollywood film Student Of The Year is all set to return to TV with Sphere Origin's new daily soap on Star Plus.


Sources inform that the actress who was on a break for almost 2 years will now be seen returning to the small screen after a hiatus. Prachee has been cast to play the role of Shrenu Parekh's mother on the show. It will be a positive and one of the key characters of the show.

When contacted, Prachee said, "Yes, I am doing the show. It's a very interesting role and the reason I decided to do the show is because the character suits me completely. Also the producers are loving people to work with. They are very organized and I think everything just kind of fell in place this time."

Divya to lie to Raj in Zee TV's Punar Vivah

Zee TV’s Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd) is currently focusing on the issues that Sarita (Srishty Rode) has been facing at her in-laws place. But with Divya’s (Rubina Dilaik) entry in the house, things are set to change for Sarita.
As seen so far, Divya has come down to Sarita and Raj’s (Karan V Grover) place to help them get closer. However, in a turn of events, Raj seems to be getting closer to Divya, as they were once in love with each other.
Hence, in the upcoming episodes, Divya will be seen lying to Raj just to get the duo (Raj-Sarita) together.
So what will this lie be? “She will tell Raj that Sarita is suffering from some rare disease and that she has a handful of days left before she breathes her last. Therefore, Raj should give her the love and care she deserves from him, he being her husband,” says our source.
Seems to be an interesting development, doesn’t it?
When we got in touch with Srishty, she said, “We haven’t shot for such a sequence yet.”

Nimrit to get Karan kidnapped just before the wedding in Life OK's Amrit Manthan

Viewers can always expect the 'unexpected' when it comes to the twists in Life OK's Amrit Manthan (Director's Kut Productions). With the notorious plans of Karan (Angad Hasija) coming to the fore, Nimrit (Ankita Sharma) is surely put to the edge. While the wedding preparations of Karan and Nimrit are in process, Nimrit who is being blackmailed by Karan is trying hard to stop the wedding from happening.
So what does Nimrit do? Well, we hear that though Nimrit is frightened about Karan's future plans, she musters courage to arrange some goons to kidnap Karan just before the wedding. Karan is hounded by these rough and tough men who kidnap him by pointing guns at him.
Our source says that the creative team had planned a major action sequence involving the goons and Angad, but it had to be cancelled owing to the recent heavy downpour of rains in Mumbai.
When contacted, Angad Hasija told us, “Karan is shown to be completely negative now, and he wants to marry Nimrit. There is quite a lot of drama in store for viewers, is what I will say. I am enjoying playing this full and full negative role.”
Will Nimrit succeed in her plans? Or will Karan have a counter plan to make this wedding happen?

It is hard for the audience to gulp down the dramatic change in Dr. Onir's character - Shakti Arora

Shakti Arora who essays the role of Dr. Onir in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta (Balaji Telefilms) as we know, is unhappy at the way his otherwise good character has been turned grey. The actor is right now feeling low with the way his track in the show is shaping up.
Explaining his grief, he tells Tellychakkar.com, “Bohot gaaliyan par rahi hai logon se.”
The actor who also hosts Brain Café on Zee Q says, “It is definitely a good phase as an actor, as I am getting more scope to perform. However on a personal note, I am not enjoying playing a grey character which with time is turning darker.”
With the revelation of Dr. Onir being already married, and with the advent of his first wife Shalini (Maneka Lalwani), Onir’s character will soon be facing wrath from all sides.
Talking about viewers’ reactions to this new shade in his character, Shakti says, “The character was so larger than life, that it’s hard for the audience to gulp down this change. They are in a state of shock.”
Ask him whether he has thoughts of withdrawing from the show, and he quickly states, “I am committed to my work and will continue with the show. In fact, I am waiting for the makers to decide on the future of my character.”
The actor who recently got verbal about his relationship with actor Neha Saxena (seen in Amita Ka Amit) has high hopes of making it big in Bollywood. “I am definitely looking for projects to star in a Bollywood film, and hope my dreams of doing a film fulfills soon.”

I dealt with divorce gracefully: Rucha Gujarathi

Television actress Rucha Gujarathi, who recnetly got divorced, says she came out of the rough phase with dignity.

The "Kkusum" and "Bhabhi" fame actress married businessman Mitul Sanghavi on Oct 24, 2010, and according to reports, in June last year she filed a complaint against her husband and in-laws for abusing her physically and mentally. Soon after that the couple filed for divorce, which came through in April this year.

"I have dealt with it gracefully. I have come out of it with dignity and respect. I know that it was a marriage which didn't work, so I have no regrets. I am single and we have parted ways," Rucha told IANS.

Her decision was supported by her family and friends, making it easier for her to move on.

"My family and friends are my strength and they respect my decision. So, when they respect my decision, there is no problem in facing them. They have held my hand during my downhill," she said.

Rucha has also been part of shows like "Rang Badalti Odahni" and "Saas Bina Sasural", among others.

Vivian Dsena's wife, Vahbbiz, keen to host show

Mumbai: Small screen's talented and beautiful actor Vahbbiz Dorabjee, who was last seen in Pyaar Kii Ek Kahaanii as Panchi is keen to host a show.
